About Us

Our Story

Our founder, Denise Castille, was traveling for work. She'd been in Farmington Hills, MI all week. Denise just wanted to get on the plane back to Dallas and take a nap. She never imagined she'd miss her flight because of a medical emergency --her medical emergency. The only person in the office knew exactly what to do. Denise knew she wanted to equip and empower as many people as possible with lifesaving skills to recognize and respond to all kinds of medical emergencies.

Our name? The name came from watching many episodes of Grey's Anatomy. The fictional character, Dr. Derek Shepherd always said before his surgeries, "it's a great day to save a life." We believe any day is a good day to learn life-saving skills.
