About the event
The American Heart Association BLS Instructor Course is taught in a blended-learning format. Instructor candidates must complete the BLS Instructor Essentials Online course followed by an Instructor-Led in-class session.
Certification Requirements
Candidates who successfully complete the steps listed below will receive an American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification, valid for two years.
Step 1: Have a current American Heart Association BLS Provider certification
Step 2: Complete the BLS Instructor Essentials Online course (included in cost of class)
Step 3: Obtain the course manuals: BLS Instructor manual or ebook (included in cost of class) and BLS Provider manual or ebook (included in the cost of class).
